I wish my dog liked these because the texture is perfect for cleaning teeth. Most breath treats are just regular crunchy-type treats, these are different. Very hard to describe but has almost a slight rubber texture, almost like a crumbly eraser, which would be perfect for erasing plaque. Of all the dental treats i've tried i've never felt this type of texture. Only problem is, my dog will NOT eat these. The closest i got was he chewed it in half and left the bits on the floor. :(. I even kept them around and gave one to him a few weeks later, then another a couple weeks after that. Nothing doing. I like the foam and the gel from this line, but alas, they're no good if he won't eat them. I would describe my dog as not particularly fussy, but not one of those dogs who will eat absolutely everything. So far he's only turned down bananas, banana flavored fruitables, these and a wysong dental cheese treat (after a while) that smelled not so nice. lol. |
