Product Description

C.E.T. Oral Hygiene Rinse contains ZincChlorhexidate, a synergistic combination of two effective oral hygiene compounds to guard against plaque without brushing. ZincChlorhexidate combines chlorhexidine, the most effective anti plaque agent available, and zinc gluconate, a compound which inhibits plaque and calculus maturation, enhances the anti plaque activity of chlorhexidine and reduces bad breath. C.E.T. Oral Hygiene Rinse also contains cetylpyridinium chloride for fresher, clean smelling breath. Spherulite technology is a patented encapsulation system develop by Virbac, which can extend the release of active ingredients at the site of application for longer efficacy. Directions: Rinse daily following each meal or as directed by your veterinarian. Hold bottle in the upright position, below your pet's field of vision. Gently elevate the upper lip to expose the teeth and gums. Point and squeeze to apply a gentle stream of C.E.T. Oral Hygiene Rinse. Avoid touching the gum with the nozzle to avoid any injury in case of movement of your pet.

This product can really help with canine oral hygiene! Cuts down on gum inflammation too! I use it on both my little dogs. They don't love it but they tolerate it. Definitely easier than brushing.

I have a small dog and after the recent teeth cleaning by our vet to the tune of $400 I figured any attempt to clean teeth would be better than nothing. I've always brushed my dogs teeth so I was disappointed that I wasn't doing enough to keep the tarter at bay. This oral rinse is very different and a bit challenging to use at first. My dog wasn't too keen on the long plastic tube and I've figured out that it's best to have the liquid nearly to the tip of the tube before inserting it in my dogs mouth. If I don't have the liquid in the tube the amount of air blowing in my dogs mouth leads her to shy away from it. All it takes is a quick squeeze on either side of the dogs mouth and you're done! My dog doesn't seem to be bothered by the taste if there is one. Overall I'm hoping that this well help keep my dogs teeth cleaner but I won't really know until next year.

I have 2 Italian greyhounds, which are a breed notorious for bad teeth. I use this rinse after brushing and it visibly seems to help out their gums. One of my iggies had to have his 2 front teeth pulled due to an injury. We watched carefully for almost 3 months to see if his gums would heal before when we finally chose to get the teeth pulled. Sadly, the injured gums basically stayed the same, but the vet said my use of this rinse may have saved the other 2 teeth since it prevented an infection from forming.
