My cats and I love the little toothbrush that comes with the cat oral hygiene kit. It's small, so my cats don't find it intimidating like the cat toothbrush that I used before. The bristles reach the top and bottom teeth easily. I bought this because my younger cat has gingivitis. My vet recommended brushing his teeth (in which I laughed) and a special food. When the food didn't work, I had to go to plan B...brushing his teeth. To my surprise he actually doesn't mind it(as long as I don't take too long). The kit comes with a little cat toothbrush which is very easy to use. It also comes with a plastic brush that goes over one of your fingers, but my cat doesn't like it when I use that one. He loves the flavor of the toothpaste, and I agree with another reviewer that the toothpaste doesn't smell at all. I would recommend this kit. Oral Hygiene Kit for Cats (Misc.) This kit comes with a regular-looking toothbrush and a "finger" brush for your cat, as well as a tube of toothpaste. I had previously used a finger brush a couple of times with little success, so I stuck to trying the regular toothbrush.The brush looked like the bristles were too long, but when I set it down in front of my cats, they all loved the way it wobbled a little, and started to play with it and bite the bristles. Every day I presented them with the brush and started putting paste on the end of it, and they would pick it up in their mouths and practically brush their own teeth by chewing the bristles. I was very shocked (and happy) about this behavior. It has been about 3 weeks now, and the cats now accept me putting the brush against their teeth and slightly brushing.
