My vet recommended this treat as a tasty, but wholesome, low calorie treat for my overweight dog. She comes running whenever I open the bag! The size is perfect to insert in her rubber toy and she works at it until she can get it out. Best of all, it is less than 10 calories (many store bought treats can be 50 - 100 calories) so I can give her more than one without jeopardizing her health.
